WORK DESCRIPTION WRITING

Key Services Include:

  • Conduct of job, activities and responsibilities analyses and assessment of organizational work processes and functions;
  • Identification for consultation and interviews, specific units and personnel/staff within the organization and, as appropriate, elsewhere within the organization;
  • Identification and conceptualization of key responsibilities pertaining to position categories/classifications; and verification with management, responsibilities of specific functions;
  • Review of existing work descriptions and (or) identification of the need to create new position(s) or revise existing position(s) and recommendation of appropriate changes to reflect the new organizational structure;
  • Development of Generic work descriptions;
  • Development of new work descriptions in client department prescribed format with interview(s) up to third draft if necessary, to the point where the description(s) can be classified;
  • Revision to existing work descriptions in client department prescribed format with interview(s) to the point where the description(s) can be classified; and
  • Preliminary evaluation of work descriptions.

EXECUTIVE GROUP (EX) EVALUATION PLAN WORK DESCRIPTION WRITING

Key Services Include:

  • Development of new EX work descriptions, including interview(s), up to third draft if required, to the point where the description(s) can be classified;
  • Revision of existing EX work description(s), including interview(s), to the point where the description(s) can be classified; and
  • Preliminary evaluation of work descriptions.
